The 3year MAMEM Project (http://www.mamem.eu) came to an end with great success.
Disabled people proved that through "thought" and "eyes" many can be achieved. They were more active handling information and texting through social media and had better communication with their family and friends.
The main goal of the Project was the integration of disabled people into the society giving them the opportunity to use computers with their eye and thought.
Comments by the Project's Manager representing the EU were realy positive quoting "We are very satisfied with the completion of the project and we are impressed by the way the system works overcoming the level of nowadays technology. We hope that soon the product will be released in the market".
We would like to thank Dr. Spiros Nikolopoulos of the National Center of Research and Technological Development CERTH, who supervised and coordinated research teams from 7 different countries. We also like to thank University of Koblenz, Eindhoven, Thessaloniki, the Research center of SHEBA Hospital in Israel, the technological companies SMI and EB NEURO SpA of Italy, MDA Hellas members' team who participated in the project and Mrs Agnes Mariakakis and Mr. Dimitrios Athanasiou for their continuous help.
This ambitious and grate achievement showed that there is nothing impossible for the people who try!!!
